From the same makers who brought you the popular Max Payne, Remedy Entertainmenthas once again created another potential video game pop culture icon, Alan Wake. Alan Wake, exclusive for the XBOX 360 is an action thriller video game and five years in the making will finally be release on May 2010.

The premise of the XBOX 360 exclusive console game is about a bestselling writer running out of ideas. Alice, Alan's wife decided to bring him to the small captivating town of Bright Falls to jump start his creative juices which have been dormant for almost two years. A series of unfortunate events ends up with the disappearance of Alice. Alan wakes up only to find out the secret of Bright Falls unfolding right before his very eyes.

A good campaign material have been released by Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment on their official website regarding the release of Alan Wake. One of these marketing gimmick is the six webisode prequel (viral video campaign) of Alan Wake. Bright Falls is an eye candy to horror and thriller movie enthusiasts.
