After a player finishes and finds the thief of the Queen’s Hope Diamond, the master detective now achieves the trust of the Queen and is now ready for harder tasks. The player is now sent to solve a mysterious case of a manor located in Blackpool, England. MCF: Ravenhearst marked as the third installment of the hidden objects game series and was released last December 2006 and became a huge hit.

Aside from the usual hidden objects game which is common in every installment, Ravenhearst’s primary aim is to recover the missing pages of the Emma Ravenhearst’s diary and unlock the mystery on who was her murderer. The door puzzles set this installment different from the previous two games. For every new room a player is about to explore, one must first crack the mystery behind the door puzzles to unlock the room. At the end of the game with the help of the completed diary, the player shall discover that her murderer was Charles Dalimar, a rich bachelor whose wedding proposal was rejected by Emma. However, the game does not end there because the fifth installment called MCF: Back to Ravenhearst calls for the player to go back to the manor and discover the cadaver of Rose and her twin daughters and unlock their souls which are trapped in the manor. Also, the Queen sends the player back to Ravenhearst to discover the dark past of the mansion the eventually put it to rest. As the game unfolds, the player will notice that there are places in the mansion that are left unexplored during the previous game. The creepy mansion calls for more hidden objects game and cryptic puzzles after which, one shall see that Charles is practicing black magic and necromancy with the help of his son Victor, to be immortal. The last part of the game calls for the search of more than ten metal heart necklaces around the manor for the spirit of Charles to be destroyed and finally put his soul to rest. But the game doesn’t end there, Charles’s son, Victor went far away using a time machine.

The conclusion of the fifth installment of MCF leaves the player wanting for more because it is for sure that there is something to look forward to with the subsequent chapter. It is said that the eighth chapter which is currently in progress is the continuation of the Ravenhearst tale. Delve into the depths of the manor, explore the epic estate, and seek the labyrinth of scenes. Unlock the mystery, play the Ravenhearst saga.
