Thank author of this post/comment

According to Charles Eliot, books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers. Yes, we all agree that books are one of the many things we can’t live without. Besides experience, it is our greatest source of knowledge. Name a topic and definitely there is a book which discusses the topic you want to be knowledgeable about. Books are one of the things which are very wide in variety. Whether it may be fictional, or just purely facts, whether it is a self-help topic, a cooking guide or a manual to success, books are just very broad. But among many books sold and written, there is one special book that is often taken for granted. Written thousands of years ago, this book defines who we really are, our true identity. It is the Bible.

The Bible is divided into two sections namely the Old and the New Testament. A complete Bible contains sixty six official books however some version have more. The Old Testament has thirty nine books which were originally written in Hebrew, while the New Testament only has twenty seven books as was originally written in Greek. The Bible was written by approximately forty scholars. It was said that the angels were guarding them when they wrote the scriptures. This book was made by the most intellectual people in the history. This book is truly a source of wisdom for everyone. The Bible is the source of spiritual faith by a lot of Christians. The Holy Bible helped mold the spirituality and morality of people.

Even with its popularity and message, the Bible has still been taken for granted by the newer generation of readers. Most fail to read it because they prefer reading magazines and other entertainment print media. One should realize and consider that the Bible holds so many things for us. It will be this world's greatest source of morality and life lessons. It teaches how to forgive and even love our enemies, honor parents and most of all, to believe in a greater power besides our selves. It is never too late to read it. Technology may have negatively affected the traditional print media but it also made reading the bible a lot easier. There are different versions of the Bible available online to choose from. There is no excuse. Don’t make the best book in world became the least read book.
